Laughing Goat is the log of John Russell and Susan Cole and the S/V catamaran "Smooch." John is a lapsed advertising and research executive, and currently a partner in the market research and planning company Phaedrus&Partners. Founded by Susan Cole as a as a new product boutique, Phaedrus now specializes in Ethnographic research to solve marketing problems for such companies as Verizon and Draft/FCB.
